Stored XSS in Advanced REST Client 17.0.9 allows remote attackers to execute script in the desktop app through an imported project. The New Project description accepts Markdown containing an HTML event handler, preserves it during export and import, and renders it without neutralizing the script. Exploitation requires a user to import and open an attacker-supplied ARC project; the demonstrated payload reads the application URL or redirects content for phishing.
