Path traversal in React Native Document Picker before 8.2.2 and 9.0.0 through 9.1.0 allows local users to execute code on Android. The Android copyFileToLocalStorage path joins a DocumentProvider-supplied fileName to the app cache or files directory without canonical-path containment validation. Exploitation requires the user to pick a file from a malicious installed document-provider app while copyTo is enabled, allowing file overwrite and possible replacement of the app's JavaScript bundle.
