Application crash via invalid-size font buffer allocation

Memory allocation flaw in imlib2 before 1.10.0 allows attackers to crash a consuming application through a crafted feh list file. During feh startup, init_imlib_fonts proceeds with an invalid-size buffer allocation; glibc rejects the allocation during strdup and aborts. The published reproduction requires a user to invoke feh list mode on the crafted file, and the demonstrated consequence is interruption of that process.
