Script execution via reflected login message
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
Reflected XSS in MD1health MD1patient 1.16.0 and 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted login URL. The login page inserts the Msg query parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing markup, so an image error handler executes in the browser. Exploitation requires a victim to open an attacker-crafted URL; the script then runs in the portal's origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
