Database data access via concatenated status parameter
Published Feb 20, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
SQL injection in MRCMS 3.1.2 allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the article search status parameter. ArticleService.find concatenates status directly into the SQL WHERE clause, and the published payload uses an error-based query to retrieve the database user. The proof targets an administrative route and includes a session cookie, while public evidence does not establish the minimum account privilege required.
