Unauthenticated code execution via concatenated ID parameter
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Mar 28, 2025
SQL injection in SEMCMS 4.8 allows remote attackers to read database data through the SEMCMS_Menu.php ID parameter. SEMCMS_Menu.php line 66 concatenates the GET ID value directly into a SELECT query, while its blacklist omits usable SQL operators and functions. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates blind database-name extraction, while the CNA also reports arbitrary code execution.
