Unauthorized translation insertion via forged administrative request
Published Feb 11, 2024 · Updated Jun 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in flusity-CMS 2.33 allows remote attackers to add translations through a victim browser. The /core/tools/add_translation.php endpoint accepts a cross-origin POST containing attacker-chosen language and translation fields without a request-bound anti-CSRF check. Exploitation requires a CMS user to load attacker-controlled HTML while the application is reachable from that browser; successful requests modify site translation data.
