CVE-2024-25386Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via path traversal

Published Mar 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024

Path traversal in Laurel Bridge Software DICOM Connectivity Framework 2.7.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. format_logfile.pl processes a crafted pathname without confining it to the intended directory; public sources do not disclose the parameter or subsequent execution path. The vendor limits exposure to the end-of-life 2004 Solaris SPARC C++ release and states that current products do not include the utility.
