Reflected script execution via unneutralized receipt identifier
Published Mar 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
XSS in MAGESH-K21 Online College Event Hall Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim browser. The /admin/receipt.php endpoint places the attacker-controlled id parameter into generated output without neutralizing script-capable input. Exploitation requires access to the receipt endpoint and interaction by another user, after which the injected script runs in that user's browser context.
