Database disclosure and modification via orderID injection
Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2025
SQL injection in Simple Admin Panel App 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through the orderID parameter. The viewEachOrder.php endpoint incorporates attacker-controlled orderID syntax into a MySQL WHERE clause without neutralizing SQL operators, enabling boolean-, time-, and UNION-based queries. The endpoint is network-reachable without authentication; successful exploitation is bounded by the application database account's privileges.
