CVE-2024-25222Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated database access via projectID SQL injection

Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 16, 2024

SQL injection in EditProject.php in Code Projects Task Manager 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data. The page incorporates the projectID GET value into a MySQL WHERE or HAVING expression without safely separating input from query syntax, enabling boolean-, time-, and UNION-based payloads. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated consequence is extraction of the TaskManager database, while further effects depend on database permissions.
