Stored script execution via unsanitized project names
Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025
Stored XSS in Task Manager App 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary scripts through crafted project names. Projects.php accepts a Project Name containing HTML event-handler markup and later renders it without adequate neutralization. A victim must view the affected project content; the injected code runs in that user's site context and can read accessible session data.
