Database read and modification via resident SQL injection
Published Feb 14, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2025
SQL injection in Barangay Population Monitoring System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through a resident request. The delete-resident.php endpoint interprets SQL syntax supplied in the resident GET parameter as part of a MySQL query, enabling boolean, error, stacked-query, and time-based payloads. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated sqlmap sequence identifies the barangay_db database.
