Unauthenticated directory listing via unsanitized mediaPath
Published Dec 29, 2025 · Updated Dec 29, 2025
Path traversal in scan.php in givanz VvvebJs 1.7.2 allows remote attackers to list arbitrary server directories via mediaPath. scan.php appends the POST mediaPath value to its own directory and recursively passes the result to file_exists and scandir without normalization or a containment check. The request needs no authentication or user interaction; the response exposes directory names, paths, and file sizes rather than file contents.
