Unauthorized data access via skipped permission checks
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Authentication bypass in Fortra GoAnywhere MFT before 7.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data through the Agent Console. The Agent Console accepts Admin User requests for other application pages without enforcing some page-level permission checks. An Admin User must already have authenticated Agent Console access; the flaw affects confidentiality and integrity, not availability.
