Browser script execution via unsanitized error URL

Reflected XSS in Fortra FileCatalyst Direct 3.8.6 through 3.8.8 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. The web server places illegal characters from a crafted URL into a subsequent error page without sanitizing them, allowing an HTML script tag to execute. A user must open the crafted URL; execution is confined to the affected site's browser context, where script can read or alter accessible page data.
