Authenticated user impersonation via leaked doAsUserId parameter

Information disclosure in affected Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP releases allows remote authenticated users to impersonate users. While one user is impersonating another and creates linked content in the WYSIWYG editor, the editor retains the doAsUserId URL parameter in the link instead of removing the impersonation identifier. Any authenticated user who accesses that linked content can reuse the leaked parameter to act as the impersonated account; no service interruption is reported.
