Certificate trust misconfiguration in RustDesk 1.2.3 on Windows allows attackers to sign trusted code via a test root. The installer adds WDKTestCert admin,133225435702113567 to the Local Machine Trusted Root Certification Authorities store with the Code Signing EKU. Exploitation requires access to the certificate's private key and delivery of signed software; the published record does not document a key compromise.
