Password hash disclosure via populated backend forms

Information disclosure in affected TYPO3 CMS releases allows remote authenticated users to obtain password hashes from backend editing forms. The backend Form Engine populates password input fields with stored hash values, causing those hashes to be returned in record-edit forms instead of leaving the fields empty. A valid backend account with access to password input fields is required, and disclosure enables offline brute-force recovery of the corresponding plaintext passwords.
