Weak cryptography in AppSamvid 2.0.1 and earlier allows local users to recover its password from SHA-1-protected login data. The user login component hashes the application password with SHA-1, providing inadequate strength against password recovery. Exploitation requires local administrative privileges; the recovered password grants complete control of the application.
