Stored script execution via unsanitized shortcode attributes
Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Paytium 4.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode attributes. Paytium fails to sanitize user-supplied shortcode attributes or escape them when rendering a payment form, so stored markup executes when a user opens the affected page. Contributor-level access is required, and execution occurs in the browser of a user who visits the injected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
