Command execution via shell-expanded archive names

Command injection in FontForge through 20230101 allows remote attackers to execute commands when a crafted archive or compressed file is opened. The Splinefont Unarchive and Decompress handlers insert input filenames into command strings passed to system(), allowing shell metacharacters to be interpreted. Opening attacker-supplied input is required, and injected commands run with the FontForge process's privileges.
