Credential disclosure via unmasked JAS client secret
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Plaintext credential storage in IBM Jazz Reporting Service 7.0.3 allows local users to read the Jazz Authentication Service client secret. When Jazz Authentication Service is enabled, the reporting system renders the client secret as unmasked plaintext in its administrative interface. Administrator privileges and an enabled Jazz Authentication Service configuration are required; the reported consequence is disclosure of that credential only.
