Heap-based buffer overflow in IBM MQ Appliance 9.3 LTS and CD allows remote authenticated users to execute code or crash the server. IBM attributes the flaw to improper bounds checking but has not disclosed the affected message-processing locus or the unchecked size operation. Exploitation requires authenticated network access to the appliance; a successful trigger either executes arbitrary code or crashes the server.
