Improper account lockout in IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service 2.0.0 through 2.0.4 allows attackers to brute-force credentials. The service authentication path inadequately restricts repeated failed logins; IBM has not disclosed the implementing component. Adjacent-network access is required, and a successful guess grants access to data available to the targeted account.
