Local sensitive-information disclosure through insecure logging
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Sep 21, 2024
Information disclosure in affected IBM Cloud Pak for Security and QRadar Suite Software releases allows local users to read potentially sensitive log data. IBM states that the products store potentially sensitive information in log files, but it does not disclose the logging component, data fields, file paths, or access-control error. Local access is required; affected releases are 1.10.0.0 through 1.10.11.0 and 1.10.12.0 through 1.10.22.0, respectively, with no reported write or service-interruption impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.10.12.0 <=1.10.22.0
