Authenticated service crash via null pointer dereference
Published Apr 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Null pointer dereference in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to crash WLAvalancheService via TCP port 1777. WLAvalancheService listens on that port by default and dereferences a null pointer while processing an attacker-controlled authenticated request. Successful exploitation interrupts the management service without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
