Buffer overflow in affected Gallagher Controller 6000 and Controller 7000 firmware allows remote authenticated users to reboot the controller. The diagnostic web interface copies operator-supplied input into a buffer without checking its size, triggering the reboot. The diagnostic page must be enabled, although it is disabled by default and intended only for support-directed diagnostics.
