Authenticated command execution via unescaped country value
Published Mar 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
OS command injection in RaspAP raspap-webgui 3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via a crafted country value. The saveProviderConfig function appends the POSTed country value directly to privileged VPN-client command strings passed to exec without shell escaping. Administrative access and the disabled-by-default VPN-provider feature are required; successful injection runs shell commands with the web-server account's privileges.
