CVE-2024-24964

SYSTEM privilege escalation via resident process

Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024

Improper access control in SKYSEA Client View 11.220.05p through 19.101.01a allows local users to execute arbitrary processes as SYSTEM. The resident process lets a user-privileged process start an administrator-privileged process because access is not adequately restricted. A user must be able to log in to an affected Windows PC; the flaw does not provide remote code execution.
