Contributor-level file deletion via unchecked temporary path
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in Elementor Website Builder 3.19.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files. The affected file-processing path accepts an insufficiently validated tmp_name value, permitting traversal paths or a phar wrapper to reach filesystem operations. Contributor-level access is required; file deletion can break the site, while PHAR deserialization can inject PHP objects and lead to code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
