Reflected XSS via unescaped page parameter
Published Feb 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Prasidhda Malla Honeypot for WP Comment 2.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via the page parameter. The plugin emits the page query value into generated HTML without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. A victim must open a crafted link; the injected script then runs in that user's browser context and can read or alter same-origin page data.
