Service interruption via cpca out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 6, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Check Point Multi-Domain Security Management R81, R81.10, and R81.20 allows remote attackers to crash cpca. The cpca certificate authority service reads beyond a buffer while processing crafted HTTP POST requests on TCP port 18264. No authentication or user interaction is required; when gateways lack cached CRLs, cpca termination interrupts VPN and SIC connectivity.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
