Remote command execution via shell-built SCP command
Published Mar 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
OS command injection in openEuler migration-tools 1.0.0 through 1.0.1 allows remote attackers to execute commands via report export. The MT_export_migration_reports route interpolates a submitted source username and stored password into an sshpass/scp shell string passed to os.system without shell-safe argument handling. Exploitation requires user interaction to trigger the crafted export; successful input runs with the migration-tools server service's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
