Database disclosure via unprepared shortcode query
Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SQL injection in Smarty Pants Plugins SP Project & Document Manager 4.69 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The sp_cdm_display_project_shortcode_show function fails to escape a user-supplied shortcode parameter or prepare the resulting SQL query, allowing extra SQL to be appended. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and successful exploitation exposes sensitive information stored in the site database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
