CVE-2024-24819Network attack vector

Unauthorized changes via unvalidated CSRF tokens

Published Feb 9, 2024 · Updated May 15, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Icinga Web 2 Incubator before 0.22.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter data via crafted requests. The gipfl\Web\Form base class adds a CSRF element but assigns it no validator and replaces invalid submitted values rather than rejecting the form. Exploitation requires a privileged user to interact with a prepared link or website; resulting changes are limited to actions available to that user's session.
