Unauthorized actions via missing HTTP Origin validation
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
CSRF in the web application of LevelOne WBR-6012 R0.40e6 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions through a malicious page. The firmware performs no Origin validation on HTTP requests, so an external site can submit requests to the router as the logged-in administrator. Exploitation requires an administrator to visit attacker-controlled content; demonstrated consequences include rebooting the router and changing its password.
