CVE-2024-24772Network attack vector

Guest data disclosure via tampered chart metrics

Published Feb 28, 2024 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

SQL injection in Apache Superset before 3.0.4 and 3.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read analytics database data. The chart-data REST API accepted guest-supplied ad hoc metrics instead of restricting requests to metrics stored with the embedded chart. Exploitation requires guest access to an embedded chart, and database errors disclose information without reported data modification.
