CVE-2024-24768Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session-cookie disclosure via missing Secure attribute

Published Feb 5, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Cleartext cookie transmission in 1Panel 1.9.5 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read session cookies over HTTP. The AuthService.generateSession method passes false for Gin's Secure cookie flag, so browsers can resend an HTTPS session identifier over an unencrypted HTTP request. Exposure requires HTTPS to be enabled, an authenticated user to access the panel over HTTP, and an attacker positioned to observe that network traffic.
