CVE-2024-24760Network attack vector

Container-port exposure via missing isolation rules

Published Feb 2, 2024 · Updated May 15, 2025

Network isolation failure in mailcow: dockerized before 2024-01c allows remote authenticated users to access internal container ports. The MAILCOW netfilter chain omits rules that drop non-br-mailcow ingress forwarded to br-mailcow on TCP ports 3306, 6379, 8983, and 12345. Same-subnet access is required; successful connections expose those container services despite loopback-only host binds.
