Unauthenticated file disclosure via external XML entities
Published Feb 13, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
XXE in SAP NetWeaver AS Java Guided Procedures 7.50 allows remote attackers to read sensitive files through crafted XML requests. The caf~eu~gp~model~iforms~eap application's XML parser resolves external entities from attacker-supplied XML, exposing server-side files and data. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; the disclosed impact is read-only, and entity-expansion limits prevent service interruption.
