Remote service reboot via overlong POP3 input

Denial of service in the YahooPOPs POP3 service 1.6 allows remote attackers to reboot the service via a long string to TCP port 110. Public records do not identify the affected POP3 command or copy operation; they establish only that the listener mishandles overlong input and reboots. No authentication or user interaction is required; repeated requests can interrupt POP3 mail retrieval, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
