Administrator file upload via missing type validation
Published Feb 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in bPlugins Icons Font Loader 1.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place files on the server. The upload function accepts administrator-supplied files without validating their type, allowing executable content to reach the WordPress host. Administrator access is required; successful use writes attacker-controlled files to the site, with code execution when the web server executes an uploaded file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
