Denial of service in Django 3.2 before 3.2.24, 4.2 before 4.2.10, and 5.0 before 5.0.2 allows remote attackers to exhaust CPU. The intcomma template filter recursively applies a regular-expression substitution once per comma inserted, causing processing time to grow with very long numeric strings. A Django application must pass attacker-controlled, very long strings to intcomma; successful exploitation stalls request processing without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
