Data interception via improper SSH host-key validation

Improper SSH host-key validation in Hitachi Energy products allows physically proximate attackers to intercept or falsify exchanges. The FOXCST and UNEM client applications accept an SSH server host key without correctly confirming that it belongs to the intended host. Exploitation requires physical access and active user interaction to interpose on the connection, exposing exchanged data and potentially interrupting affected and downstream systems.
