Improper input validation in the XmlCli UEFI firmware feature for some Intel processors allows local users with high privileges to escalate privileges. The XmlCli feature accepts improperly validated input, but Intel has not disclosed the affected parser, input format, or incorrect operation. Exploitation requires local access, high existing privileges, high complexity, and additional platform conditions; success crosses a security boundary and can compromise firmware-level confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
