Authenticated SQL injection via extracted request variable
Published Jan 31, 2024 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
SQL injection in facileManager 4.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with log-viewing privileges to read database data. admin-logs.php calls extract($_REQUEST), allowing a search_sql URL parameter to overwrite $search_sql before it is concatenated into and executed as a query. Access to site logs is required; the published proof of concept retrieves database metadata, usernames, and password hashes.
