Stored script execution via unencoded form input
Published Jan 31, 2024 · Updated May 29, 2025
Stored XSS in facileManager 4.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted form input. The shared sanitize() path passed strings to database escaping without stripping tags or encoding HTML, allowing saved input to render as active script. An authenticated account can store the payload in fields such as User Comment; viewing the saved record executes it in the application origin.
