Unauthenticated service interruption via unbound sessions
Published Mar 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 14, 2024
Improper session validation in FusionPBX before 5.2.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through an unbound authorized session. The authentication validator did not bind an authorized session to the originating IP address and user-agent value, permitting reuse from a different client context. Exploitation requires possession of an authorized session identifier, and the published assessment limits the documented consequence to service interruption.
