Cross-site scripting in Act-On 2023 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in a victim's browser through the newUser parameter. The login.jsp component incorporates the newUser request value into generated page content without adequate output neutralization. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted response; published evidence supports browser-context data access or modification, not server-side arbitrary code execution.
